Beautiful Morning

Today is a beautiful day, the perfect day for a miracle to happen! I don't know about you, but I know I can use one! In fact, give me 2 or 3 Lord! I got up way too early this morning (gotta love being a football player's mom), but I will say that it most definitely was NOT in vain! God uses those moments to talk to me. I figure He probably uses those early morning times because my brain isn't awake enough to argue with Him! 

As I pondered on the challenges of the last few months, He spoke something very clear to me. He said Chandra, I need you to believe in me like you have never believed in me before. Trust me like you have never trusted me before. He reminded me that if I could only see what He saw, I would never doubt or fear anything the enemy or the world tried to bring against me. I have read the words "No weapon formed against you shall prosper." I declare it, I pray it, I speak it when I'm stressed. But that's just it, I'm already stressed and freaking out when I do. But do I BELIEVE it? This morning, He hit that part of my heart... If you could only see what I see, you would truly know... There is NOTHING that I am not bigger than. There is NOTHING I will let take you out. There is NOTHING I can't help you overcome. So I made my prayer this morning, "Lord, show me what you see. Let me look in the mirror and see what you see me to be! And I promise Lord, when you show me, I won't argue, I'll receive it." 

That's the key right there ladies. He gives it to us, we see it, we hear it. He has had people speak things into my life. He has called me Warrior. Mighty. Strong. Confident.  We get glimpses. It comes in the form of those days of waking up feeling on top of the world. And then... don't know what happens but I let the enemy turn me back into this whimpering wimp! Why? Because when I hear and see the things God sees me as, I argue. I say 'Who, me?" while looking around for this bad ass everyone talks about. But no more. You are all bad asses. I think it was Joel Olsteen (sorry Joel if it wasn't you)  who said "God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called."  You, sweet sister, are CALLED... another word for called I like to use is CHOSEN, and the enemy of your soul knows this. Ask God today to show you WHO you are in His eyes. Ask Him to give you that glimpse of you that He sees. And when He does (cuz He WILL), close your eyes, take a deep breath in and RECEIVE it!!!!
